Abstract

The article analyzes approaches that increase student activity in teaching Life Sciences in primary grades, especially within the framework of the principle of student-centered learning. Student-centered learning is accepted as a main direction in the modern pedagogical system and serves to ensure the active participation of students in the educational process. The article examines the essence of student-centered learning, its application methods, and how this approach affects the development of creative, critical, and research-oriented thinking skills in Life Sciences lessons. Examples and suggestions are given regarding the role of teachers, the use of interactive methods, and the application of project- and game-based approaches.
