This qualitative research study examines 181 YouTube videos published about public libraries between January and October 2024 to determine the agenda-setting thematic content categories featured in the videos and media framing effects used to "frame" the content. This research employs thematic analysis to conduct an inductive study of the thematic content categories identified from YouTube video titles and captions. The research applies a deductive research process to categorize the video titles and captions into the media framing categories proposed by Semetko and Valkenburg (2000).
