The article analyzes the potential of Russian energy companies, in particular PJSC Gazprom, in the global hydrocarbon market. It considers key trends in oil and gas production, transportation and export, as well as the impact of external factors, such as sanctions and changes in the structure of global demand. Particular attention is paid to the Power of Siberia and Turkish Stream projects, which contribute to the diversification of export destinations and a decrease in dependence on traditional markets. The study identifies the risks associated with the reduction of geological exploration and assesses the prospects for technological sovereignty. It analyzes cooperation with countries of the Asia-Pacific region, Central Asia and Africa, as well as its role in strengthening Russia's position in the global energy market.
