The study of teachers" self-efficacy and its impact on the learning process has gained particular interest especially in the last two decades. Teachers’ self-efficacy, namely teachers" beliefs in their ability to effectively handle the tasks, the responsibilities and the challenges related to their professional activity, plays a key role in achieving significant academic results. The purpose of this research is to investigate the perceptions of the early childhood education teachers’ (kindergarten teachers) in the Region of Western Greece (prefectures of Aetoloacarnania, Achaia, Ilia) of their self-efficacy. The quantitative method was used to conduct the research. The questionnaire was completed by 291 teachers. The results of the research showed quite satisfactory levels of teachers" self-efficacy.
