Abstract

The study aims to substantiate, develop, and present the content of organizational and methodological support for psychological and pedagogical classes in the region’s education system, using the example of the interaction of the Togliatti State University with educational organizations of basic general education in the urban district of Togliatti. The specificity of organizational and methodological support is revealed, the leading ideas of which are based on the provisions of L. S. Vygotsky’s cultural-historical theory. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the systematization of a complex of conditions that contribute to the successful interaction of educational institutions in the field of organizing the activities of students in psychological and pedagogical classes. These include: 1) the selection and scientific justification of the leading idea of support; 2) the search for forms of productive interaction between the subjects of support; 3) the creation of a supportive environment that increases motivation to choose pedagogical activity; 4) educational work and the formation of a positive image of the teaching profession. The experience of organizational and methodological support for pedagogical classes is presented using the example of the implementation of these conditions in the urban district of Togliatti. As a result of the research, the forms and methods of working with students of specialized classes were tested and revealed, which include project activities implemented under the guidance of student mentors; the regional festival “NastavnikFest”, which is a platform for the presentation of social projects developed in psychological and pedagogical classes; “Pedagogical Vacations” as an educational intensive for future university applicants. These forms of work are offered for use in educational organizations. The article concludes on the importance of organizational and methodological support for psychological and pedagogical classes in the development of pedagogical education in the region.
