This paper is a study on the theme represented by nature as tranquil and harmonious in modern and postmodern times. It compares Williams Wordsworth with Muhammad Iqbal through style, linking that with literary languages and landscapes. While these two authors have different focuses on each their related fields, why not equate them to the well-known poets whose string of verses are so valuable today? The paper uses ecocritical, philosophical, and cultural perspectives to probe into crack between these poets' different visions of nature. From what has been discussed above it can be seen that in fact, no matter how far they might be apart culturally or philosophically speaking on this issue still both represent beneficial frameworks for people seeking peace and harmony through reconnection with nature.
