Ethics and Behavior of Islamic Politics

AbstractThis research discusses the relationship between ethics, political behavior and Islamic teachings as a comprehensive value system. In Islam, politics is not only understood as an effort to seize power, but also as an instrument for realizing the benefit of the people. Islamic political ethics is based on the principles of justice, deliberation, responsibility and social welfare. Politics must be carried out based on sharia norms so as not to deviate from human and divine values. This study also reviews how the history of Islam from the time of the Prophet to the era of Khulafaur Rasyidin shows the importance of moral principles in leadership.
