Derived Names as a Reflection of Linguistic Consciousness in Statements on the Territory of Northern Kazakhstan

The article examines the derived names in the speech utterances of the inhabitants of Northern Kazakhstan as an indicatorof linguistic thinking. In conditions of excessive information, the verb-bundle is often eliminated, which leads to the emergence of similar related meanings; for a subject with a feature, its involvement in the naming process remains a priority, which is determined by the speech situation or a specific context. Colloquial speech is dominated by derivednouns expressing sensory-evaluative meanings. Such names convey the perception of an object through the sensationsthat arise in the speaker under the influence of the external environment. The pragmatic orientation of the semantics of derived names, due to their propositive nature, can either be strengthened or actualized, which depends on the intentionsof the speaker and is realized through judgments characterizing the object.
