This article aims to examine various technology-based employee development strategies to improve work competencies. The method used is a literature review of previous studies that examine the application of technologies such as e-learning, collaboration platforms, mobile learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) in the process of employee training and development. The results of the study show that the use of technology is able to increase the efficiency, flexibility, and effectiveness of training. In addition, the use of AI opens up opportunities for personalized learning that matches the characteristics of each employee. However, challenges such as digital competency inequality, ethical and data privacy risks, and potential social disruption due to individualism also need to be addressed. Therefore, the strategy of strengthening digital competencies and mastering soft skills must be integrated in human resource development so that employees are able to adapt and excel in the midst of digital transformation.
