Power theft poses a significant challenge in many developing countries, leading to revenue losses for governments and people. Aim: This study proposes a solution to address the issue of power theft by utilizing IoT to detect and enhance energy management. By using this system, detecting power theft becomes more accurate, and it is also more affordable to install compared to traditional methods for addressing this issue. This system has various other IOT devices like a relay, which cuts off the current when power theft is detected, and a buzzer is used to blow when power theft is detected so that consumers also become aware of this situation. Result: In this system, we have utilized GSM technology for instant messaging to providers regarding power theft issues, and by using IoT, we are displaying system data in real-time on the website, allowing both providers and consumers to view the system data in real-time. Major Findings: Major research covers power theft between pole to pole, so we are finding solutions to power theft between the pole and the consumer. This system helps to minimize the cost and increase reliability in the system. This makes this system a foundation for smart grid development.
