The movie "Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap" presents various social facts faced by the Batak community, including the complexity of life, including cultural values, traditions, and norms adopted, as well as various challenges faced. This research aims to describe the forms of modern life. The movie is very related to the life of modern Indonesian society today. Social facts contained in the movie Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap by Bene Dion. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literary sociology approach. Primary data is obtained from the dialog, expressions, and gestures of the characters in the film, especially those that reflect the social facts under study. Data collection was done through film observation, text analysis, and dialog recording. Data analysis used a qualitative descriptive approach with the application of Emile Durkheim's Sociology of Literature Theory to identify social facts in the film. The results of the study revealed 25 social facts in the movie which were divided into 11 external factors, 7 coercive factors, and 7 general factors.
