With the continuous development of automobile industry, the performance and efficiency of automobile automatic transmission system have become an important factor affecting the performance and fuel economy of automobiles. With the continuous development of intelligent technology, the application of intelligent control methods in automotive automatic transmission system has also become a research hotspot. Therefore, this paper aims to discuss the research background and significance of the intelligent control method of automobile automatic transmission system, introduce the antecedent knowledge, describe the intelligent control method, present the experiments and results, and summarise the conclusions and outlook. Automotive automatic transmission system is a kind of transmission system that can automatically select the appropriate gear according to several factors such as vehicle speed and engine speed. Its control methods usually include mechanical, hydraulic and electronically controlled. Among them, the electronically controlled automatic transmission system has the advantages of fast response speed, high control accuracy, etc., and is the most widely used automatic transmission system at present. In this paper, based on the big data foundation of deep learning combined with the working principle of the transmission to study and analyse the intelligent control system, and optimization research was carried out with the support of the original big data.
