The article provides a detailed analysis of the amendments to the Law on State Control No. 248-FZ, which entered into force on 01.01.2025. It is emphasized that these amendments, first of all, provide a significant strengthening of the supervisory component of the mandatory preventive visit. It is noted that the legislator took into account the proposals previously formulated and presented by the authors of this publication in the article «How to Ensure the Priority of Preventive Measures in the System of State Control of the Quality and Safety of Medical Activities: Proposals» («Healthcare Manager» No. 9, 2024). Now one of the most important provisions of the Law on State Control No. 248-FZ is the provision on the assessment of the level of compliance of the controlled person with mandatory requirements during the preventive visit. Consequently, medical organizations must prepare for the mandatory preventive visit in the most thorough manner. The authors propose to establish the frequency of mandatory preventive visits for medical organizations at least once every six years, which will ensure regular state control (supervision) over mandatory requirements updated with the same frequency.
