Motivation: Moyamoya affects hemodynamics and a hallmark is delayed transit time. However, the non-invasive assessments of transit time in Moyamoya remains an open question. Goal(s): Measure transit time before and after revascularization using multi-delay ASL and DSC MRI. Approach: Transit time in 52 Moyamoya patients was measured using ASL and DSC before and after revascularization. Results between these two modalities were compared in regions affected by vasculopathy. Results: Transit time decreased significantly after revascularization. ASL and DSC results were significantly and positively correlated. Impact: ASL can be utilized to evaluate transit time in Moyamoya patients before and after direct revascularization.
