These sources are essential for environmental protection, addressing energy crises, economic and social development, and public welfare. China has continuously optimised its energy production and consumption structures in recent years, driven by national policy support and corporate technological innovation. The new energy sector is a key driver of economic growth, with increasingly mature photovoltaic and wind power industries. China aims to establish a stable domestic market for these technologies. Understanding the development history and spatial organization of the new energy industry is crucial for its advancement..This study analyzes the spatial organization of China's new energy industry, using photovoltaic, wind, and hydropower as case studies. Employing geographical spatial and econometric analyses, the research examines the spatial distribution and variations of renewable energy, identifying development potential and key growth regions. The current status of wind power utilization, including its geographical distribution and spatiotemporal changes, is also assessed.
