Purpose: This study examines the crucial significance of entrepreneurship education in enhancing entrepreneurial knowledge and fostering a climate of creativity and self-employment among young people. Given the growing young population and the urgent need for economic diversification, entrepreneurship education is vital in driving economic growth and social change. Design/Methodology/Approach: A mixed-methods approach was employed to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of entrepreneurship education in fostering entrepreneurial knowledge. This approach integrates both quantitative and qualitative methods to allow for a more nuanced exploration of the research, examine the current state, identify areas where young people/students lack knowledge in entrepreneurship education, and assess the effects on young people/students' intentions and abilities to start their businesses. Findings: The findings demonstrate a notable and favourable association between education in entrepreneurship and the improvement of knowledge, abilities, and attitudes related to entrepreneurship. Research Limitation: In this context, cultural and societal influences on entrepreneurship education or entrepreneurial knowledge need to be addressed to fully realise their impact on policy implementation and regulatory challenges in Uganda's new frontier. Practical Implication: Emphasises significant obstacles, such as the pertinence of the curriculum, instructional approaches, and the tangible implementation of entrepreneurial skills. Social Implication: highlighting a thorough need for hands-on learning, industry engagement, and governmental assistance to develop a strong entrepreneurial environment. Originality/Value: The study contributes to the holistic and pragmatic discussion on entrepreneurship education in poor nations and provides valuable insights and ideas for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in Uganda and other similar countries that use the capabilities of its young population to stimulate innovation.
