This article aims to discover the strategic management implemented by Kyai. A result of qualitative descriptive research located at the Arrosyidiyah Islamic Boarding School. Primary data sources are kyai, ustadz and santri, while secondary data sources are documents that support the researcher's research. Data collection techniques are carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Technical data analysis uses methods from Miles and Hubberman & Saldana, including data collection, condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Results of this research show that the strategic management of the Arrosyidiyah Islamic boarding school kyai is running well, marked by the strategic formulation, implementation and evaluation carried out, making the Islamic boarding school develop rapidly over the past three years by implementing flagship Kitab Kuning and Tahfidzul Qur’an, shaping strong and solid teamwork, determine an appropriate strategy, and using the technology for raise branding of boarding school.
