The article considers the possibility of historical reconstruction of the battle in the area of Kalach-on-Don as part of the architectural, memorial and tourist complex Stalingrad Cauldron, dedicated to the final part of the Battle of Stalingrad — Operation Ring. This tactical battle was the most complex of the battles fought by the Soviet Army, which determined the choice and significance of this theme.
