Abstract

In December 2021, a salvage excavation was conducted in the Mordot Arnona neighborhood in Jerusalem (Permit No. A-9163; map ref. 221265–305/628202–35; Figure 1) prior to the construction of a residential building. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the developer Mordot Arnona Ltd., was directed by I. Novoselsky, with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), N. Zilberberg and K. Arbiv (archaeological inspection), S. Halevi (photogrammetry and photography) and O. Zakaim (plans).
