Abstract

In March–April 2019, a trial excavation was conducted in Migdal Ha-‘Emeq (Permit No. A-8469; map ref. 2215–20/7319–330; Fig. 1), prior to its expansion. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, was directed by A. Mokary (field photography), with the assistance of A. Shapiro and K. Hako (area supervising), M. Peleg (photogrammetry), eleventh graders from the Na‘amat school in Iksal, youth from the premilitary program at Kibbutz H anaton and workers from Shefar‘am and Kafr Manda.
