In September 2020, documentation and a salvage excavation were conducted in a shop at 44 Bet Ha-Bad Street (Khan ez-Zeit Street) in the Old City of Jerusalem (Permit No. A-8836; map ref. 221945/631985; Fig. 1), prior to renovation. The documentation and excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Fuad Daqaq, were directed by Z. ‘Adawi, with the assistance of N. Nehama (administration), V.
