This paper introduces HyperLab, an innovative web application designed to support the scientific analysis and interpretation of spectral reflectance data. Developed for the SLab (Spectroscopy Laboratory) facility at INAF-IAPS in Rome, HyperLab offers a dual purpose: providing researchers with an efficient search engine to explore an extensive spectral database collected within the laboratory, and delivering a user-friendly graphical interface that enables real-time spectral processing and analysis. The application integrates essential functionalities including spectrum baseline removal, smoothing via a Savitzky-Golay algorithm, and detailed band analysis, which computes standard spectral parameters such as centroid, depth, and area. By combining data retrieval capabilities with advanced processing tools in a unified platform, HyperLab streamlines the workflow for spectral analysis and promotes reproducibility and efficiency in research. This paper outlines the technical framework and algorithmic methodologies underlying HyperLab, and discusses its potential applications in various scientific investigations. Moving forward, it would be interesting to explore how HyperLab's capabilities can be extended with machine learning approaches for further spectral interpretation.
