With the development of the times, the speed of changing in digital life is continuing to accelerate, at the same time, the proportions of the elderly people is increasing continuously. This paper chooses to conduct questionnaire surveys among people of different age groups and interview the elderly people, it has been discovered that the elderly population is experiencing a certain degree of "digital divide" phenomenon. This phenomenon is not only manifested in the generation gap between the elderly and society, but also shows on the elderly people how to face the difficulties in intelligent payment. For instance, they have many difficulties like they are old, the study ability has declined and so on. Addressing the digital payment challenges faced by the elderly, this paper proposes the suggestions, such as, the government should Strengthen the public welfare training for the elderly, add accessible passages for the elderly, the community should cooperate with the government in providing digital training and lectures for the elderly population, children should pay more attention to the digital challenges faced by the elderly and provide them with patient assistance.What is more, the elderly people should study positively and improve their digital literacy to adapt the digitalization process of society better.
