This article explores the poetry of contemporary Uzbek and Turkishpoets Zulfiya Mominova and Gulten Akin. It examines the portrayal of female sub-jects and the poetic expression of women’s inner experiences,drawing comparisonsbetween their works. The article describes and contrasts the poems of these two ar-tists on the theme of women, highlighting both their shared and distinct characte-ristics. Specifically, it analyzes poems from the 1990s such as “Youare a woman,”“Female,”“Don’tsaythatawomanisdreamless...,”“Womenwhosewordsarebirds,”and “Women in the house.”
