Abstract An old growth walnut plantation established on upland soil indicates growth and development has been satisfactory. Without any type of management, annual value increment has been surprising. Measurement and grading of the stand was done according to the latest rules set forth by the American Walnut Manufacturers Association. Values assigned to each grade were current local selling prices for walnut stumpage.
