Abstract A study of the employment and training of formally educated forest technicians was undertaken in the winter of 1967-68 for Lassen College, Susanville, Calif., and Paul Smith's College, Paul Smiths, N.Y. The results of this investigation, along with proposed guidelines for the establishment of such programs are given.
