This study explores the qualitative changes in teacher performance resulting from adopting online learning methodologies during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the accelerated integration of IT into educational processes. The study involved 290 teachers who participated in the survey. Data were analysed using IBM® SPSS® Statistics-25 software, and the results were classified and discussed based on statistical reliability and comparisons with related studies. The study identifies persistent challenges, such as misalignments between curriculum frameworks and actual teaching needs and varying levels of teacher engagement across different age groups. It recommends strategic overhauls in curriculum development to better integrate IT and digital tools, ensuring universal internet access in schools and the creation of digital platforms for educational resources.
