By analyzing a wide range of linguistic data from several languages, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the role ignorance plays in the construction of social norms, ideologies, and communication patterns. This paper also discusses the intersections between language, culture, and epistemology and their implications for understanding ignorance in global contexts.
