The purpose of this essay is to investigate the numerous issues and obstacles that teachers experience when implementing the autonomous curriculum in Indonesia. The research focuses on several important topics, such as teacher confusion about implementing the new learning paradigm in the independent curriculum, teacher difficulties in utilising information technology in implementing the independent curriculum, and teacher difficulties in implementing appropriate assessments for their students in accordance with implementation. Curriculum that is self-directed. Teachers' lack of understanding of the concept and application of the independent curriculum, as well as teachers' enthusiasm for learning new things, especially the use of technology in implementing the independent curriculum, are the main obstacles that teachers face in the field when implementing the independent curriculum. The Systematic Literature Review method was used to write this article. The goal of this research is to present an overview of the complexities of the challenges encountered by instructors in Indonesia when implementing the independent curriculum, and then to investigate the causes so that similar hurdles can be avoided in the future.
