The article represents a description of the judicial organization and procedural law according to the Pskov and Novgorod Judicial Charters as the major laws of the North-Western Russia of the 15th century. The author reviews such problems as types of courts and their functioning, reasons for the start of the trial, participants in the judicial process and judicial representation, order of applying to the court, judicial proceedings and evidence, sentencing and execution.
