This This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage on firm value by considering the mediating role of profitability in consumer non-cyclicals sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2022 period. The population of this study were all consumer non-cyclicals sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during that period. The number of samples was 10 companies determined through purposive sampling method. The analysis method used is descriptive statistics, Analysis method kausal steps, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that leverage has a positive and significant effect on firm value, leverage has a positive and significant effect on profitability, profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, and profitability can mediate the effect of leverage on firm value.
