In the modern realities of the administration of justice in the framework of civil proceedings, it is obvious that the special knowledge of non-governmental experts is actively used. The competence of these experts, for a number of objective reasons, does not always correspond to the competence of state experts. One of the solutions to the problem of insufficient competence of non-governmental experts may be the standardization of forensic expertise.
