Housing Construction as One of the Most Important Directions of a Socially Oriented State Development Strategy

The article discusses issues related to the pace of housing construction in the Russian Federation for the period from 2005 to 2022. An analysis of the dynamics of indicators was carried out, both for the country as a whole and in the context of federal districts. The leading federal districts in terms of the pace of commissioning of new housing space have been identified. An assessment is made of the dynamics of housing construction both in the cities of the Russian Federation and in rural areas. The dynamics of housing construction indicators in the Southern Federal District have been studied, and the leading subjects in terms of the pace of commissioning of new housing space both in urban areas and in rural areas have been identified
