This study examines activity spaces in age-friendly communities in Chinese cities to meet elderly needs and reflect local culture. A case study approach was used, selecting typical communities in various cities. Design features and usage were analyzed through fieldwork, interviews, and literature review. Age-friendly spaces should focus on functionality, safety, social needs, health, and cultural belonging for the elderly. Designing these spaces addresses aging challenges, improves quality of life, and promotes sustainable community development.
