In the article, the strategic goals and positions of China with neighboring countries are analyzed, the peculiarities and advanced principles of foreign policy are studied. China's happy mission in the international arena is to maintain peace on earth and support general development. He was always a supporter of living in peace with his neighbors, and this was the main principle of his country's international relations. The purpose of the article is to analyze China's relations with foreign countries and Kazakhstan-China in the most important areas of cooperation, as well as taking into account the influence of the political and economic agenda of the two countries. The article states that "One Belt One Road" was a turning point in the formation of the current structure of interstate relations between Kazakhstan and China. The work is of great practical importance for researchers in the field of Chinese Studies, International Relations and Political Science. The methodology of the article is structured as follows: a literature review of scientific publications on the research topic was made. In particular, an analysis of the works of Chinese authors who often use statist concepts to theoretically justify bilateral relations, as well as English-language authors who evaluate the "One Belt One Road" initiative through a critical understanding of China's geo-economic strategy is provided. In the article, the periods of relations between Kazakhstan and China are considered individually, according to the changes in the structure of political and economic relations.
