Patient and Method: We conducted a retrospective and descriptive study from January 1, 2018 to June 31, 2018, including patients aged at least 15 years who were victims of a road traffic accident. Results: During the study, 450 patients or 24.8% of admissions were collected. The average age was 36 years with a sex ratio of 3.24. The accidents had occurred in Dakar city (60%). The time slot between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. was 51.1%. A 22% drop in the number of trauma victims was observed during the weekend. Users of motorized two-wheelers and pedestrians were 88%. Victims were admitted within 24 hours in 68.22% of cases. Among the lesions, fractures were found in 45.3%. Transport was medicalized in 25.3% of patients. The treatment was orthopedic in 31.1% and surgical in 24.9% of cases. Concerning the operated patients, more than 90% benefited from an osteosynthesis.
