These proceedings contain the scholarly papers presented in the 7 th International Conference on Aeronautical, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (AAME 2024). AAME has been held in different parts of the world for some years, as indicated by the number sequence. This year (2024), the conference was held in hybrid mode from March 8 to 10, 2024 to cater for the needs of participation from different countries as well the benefits of face-to-face meeting. The face-to-face sessions of the conference were held in Hong Kong SAR, China while the virtual conference sessions were held on last day using Zoom. This conference has invited keynote speakers who are professors from renowned universities in China and Hong Kong. First keynote speaker was Prof. Ben M. Chen from Chinese University of Hong Kong, who is Fellow of IEEE and Academy of Engineering Singapore. Prof. Chen talked on details of their research in unmanned aerial platforms. Second keynote speaker was Prof. Yuehong Qian from Soochow University focusing on his world leading mathematical analysis of fluid flow. Prof. Xin Zhang from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, who is Swire Professor of Aerospace Engineering, spoke on their research in analysing urban transport systems. These keynotes lead the way opening up a vast research theme area in aeronautical, aerospace and mechanical engineering. Delegates from around the world including China and Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Algeria, Kuwait and Poland took the opportunity to share their research results and discussed potential scientific and engineering development from their work. All papers in these proceedings have passed the vigorous review process involving reviewers of the International Technical Committee. Authors benefited from valuable comments and improved their submissions to the satisfaction of reviewers. The papers in the conference have been categorized into six chapters. Nine papers are collected in Chapter 1 which entitles “Aircraft Engine Model and Hybrid Power System”. Five papers are collected in Chapter 2 which entitles “Avionics Systems and Wing Aerodynamic Analysis”. Chapter 3, which entitles “Control Model and Simulation in Aviation Systems” has five papers included. Chapter 4, which entitles “Mechanical Structure Defect Detection and Performance Analysis” have six papers included. Four papers are collected in Chapter 5 which entitles “Modern Machinery and Control Technology”. Seven papers are collected in Chapter 6 which entitles “Image Based Intelligent Control System and Application”. List of Conference Committees and Statement of Peer Review are available in this pdf.
