The article reveals and analyzes the legal regulation of the economic category "drivers of economic integration". Based on a comparative legal analysis of the economic theories of the "poles of economic growth", it is concluded that there are two positions in approaches to determining such drivers, which is reflected in legal documents and regulatory legal acts. The author's definition of "the driver of economic integration" is proposed.
