This study analyzed the characteristics of a psycho-emotional approach to guarantee basic education based on plans and reports at 12 leading schools and research schools in Busan from 2020 to 2022. Through this, the importance of a psycho-emotional approach to guarantee basic education was confirmed, and a way to generalize it to students with poor basic education in general schools was sought. First, the psycho-emotional variables identified by leading and research schools were identified, and the test methods, types of test tools, and sources of test tools were identified for each stage. Second, how to verify the psychological and emotional variables to be identified by each school was confirmed, and implications were derived accordingly. According to the results and implications of this study, suggestions were made to design and develop programs to ensure the importance of students
