The article presents an organizational and methodological model of the formation of axiological competence, which is proposed to be applied in the system of professional training of a teacher-choreographer. The model consists of three blocks: methodological-targeted (includes pedagogical conditions, scientific approaches and learning principles); procedural and substantive (reveals components, forms, methods, creative tasks in the field of choreographic education and the possibilities of their implementation); structural-resultative (highlights the characterized criteria and levels of formation of students' axiological competence). It is proven that the introduction of the organizational-methodical model into the educational process of professional training of choreographer teachers allows to modernize the educational process in the aspect of axiological orientations of students under the conditions of using modern forms and methods of education.
