ASA listened to members' wishes and implemented its own childcare program for the 2023 annual meeting. We are excited to offer it again at ANESTHESIOLOGY 2024 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October 18-22. We would like to highlight the wonderful features of the program and the inclusivity it engenders for all our physicians – particularly our early-career physician parents. The individualized program led by KiddieCorp, the leading organization offering childcare to meeting attendees, featured crafts, activities, and games for kids to enjoy. Prior to enrollment, parents filled out forms to address their child's specific needs, including childcare history, diets, and nap schedules. Many parents remarked that when they came to pick up their kids, they did not want to leave! The positive effects of childcare provisions at national meetings cannot be underestimated.
