Abstract The study aimed to identify key variables influencing the performance and happiness of 545 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in online courses during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indian universities. Utilizing structural equation modeling, the researchers found that high-quality instruction, well-designed courses, timely feedback, and high expectations positively influenced students' satisfaction, subsequently enhancing their performance. The study underscores the pivotal role of these elements in education management, especially in the context of the pandemic. It seeks to comprehend how online learning characteristics impact efficacy and enjoyment, highlighting their significance for 545 online learners. The findings emphasize the crucial role of online learning features in shaping successful learning and offer valuable insights for optimizing the online learning environment to enhance overall effectiveness.
