In urban areas, the nighttime hours are particularly significant, with street lights accounting for 8–10% of overall electricity use. The streetlight's operation is crucial, and one of the most widely used methods of operation is manual fault detection. Our suggested approach uses IOT to locate the malfunctioning street light automatically and track its location. This project's main objective is to identify faulty street lights automatically and offer control over faulty street lights. The manual labor required is made less, and problem-solving time can be reduced. Therefore, we have developed an automatic street light solution to lessen this issue. Fault detection and location tracking help us to determine whether a streetlight is functioning at night and help in notifying the appropriate person if there is a problem with a specific streetlight and detecting the location of the damaged streetlight.
