A field study was conducted during rabi season of 2022-23, at fields of Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Warangal to study the "Effect of different tillage methods on growth parameters and economics of pulse crops grown in mechanically harvested lowland rice". The experiment was laid out in split plot design replicated thrice having three tillage practices (Zero tillage T1; Reduced tillage T2; Minimum tillage T3) in main plots and four rabi pulse crops (Chickpea S1; Greengram S2; Blackgram S3; Cowpea S4) in sub-plots with total twelve treatment combinations. Study revealed that among tillage practices, reduced tillage (T2) recorded significantly higher REY (9059 kg ha-1), production efficiency (32.9 kg ha-1 day-1) and profitability (Rs 292 ha-1 day-1) whereas, among sub-plot pulse crops, greengram (S2) recorded higher REY (9427 kg ha-1), production efficiency (35.6 kg ha-1 day-1) and profitability (Rs 318 ha-1day-1).
