The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations came into effect on 1st January 2016. The SDGs focus on global efforts to end poverty and discrimination and ensure the peace and well-being of all. The agenda is based on certain themes such as people, plants, prosperity, peace and partnership. Despite the fact that it has been endorsed by 193 countries, its success is contingent on the country's ability to implement effective SDG projects using the Global Thinking, Local Action (GLOBAL) method. Higher education students, as members, have a higher level of awareness, knowledge and accessibility about the SDGs. With this level of awareness, knowledge, and accessibility, they can actively promote and accomplish the SDGs by using their academic background. In view of this, the primary goal of this empirical paper is to assess the level of awareness, knowledge and accessibility about all 17 SDGs, including SDG 4 quality education among higher education students in Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, India.
