This paper uses advanced numerical flow modelling techniques, specifically Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to investigate a centrifugal pump with radial flow in great detail.This study's main goal is to thoroughly evaluate and maximise the centrifugal pump's operational efficiency under a variety of operating scenarios.In order to precisely replicate the complex flow processes taking place inside the pump, a sophisticated computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model must be developed and rigorously validated.Important aspects like pump efficiency, turbulence properties, pressure distribution, and velocity distribution are carefully examined at different flow rates and impeller speeds using comprehensive numerical models.Additionally, the research examines the impact of geometric modifications on the performance parameters of the pump, including impeller blade design, volute geometry, and inlet/outlet combinations.To clarify how these design parameters affect hydraulic efficiency and overall pump performance, parametric evaluations are carried out.The precision and resilience of the CFD model are confirmed by carefully comparing the outcomes of the numerical simulations with experimental data.Furthermore, sensitivity studies are carried out in order to identify the most significant parameters influencing pump performance, providing important information for possible design optimisations.Essentially, this study contributes to our understanding of radial flow centrifugal pumps and provides engineers and designers with useful tools to improve the dependability and efficiency of pumping systems in a variety of industrial and commercial settings.The study's conclusions act as a spur for the creation of more sophisticated and effective pump designs, which support fluid transport systems that are both energy-and sustainablyefficient.
