It is difficult to satisfy the thermal comfort of each individual through the current air conditioning system. However, based on collected data, it is possible to calculate the optimal indoor thermal comfort level that can satisfy building occupants. The optimal set temperature calculated based on the knowledge base will maintain an appropriate indoor temperature and reduce the energy of overcooling and overheating. Additionally, it can save energy by recognizing indoor occupants and turning off heating and cooling machines when nobody is present. To satisfy occupant thermal comfort, fuzzy logic was used for fast dynamic control based on occupant recognition. In this paper, we implemented the idea in practice by applying it to our laboratory environment. Finally results were evaluated.
