This article analyzes the quality of preparation of applicants for higher education in the specialty "015 Vocational Education (Design)". Some shortcomings of the practical component in the preparedness for classes in TVET institutions have been established. The development of partnerships between different stakeholders, and the collaboration and management of the vocational education training teachers based on the ERASMUS + program, are suggested. In particular, it is proposed to use the "Resource Center for Professional Education in Design Technologies" in the Odesa region of Ukraine, the purpose of which is the preparation and implementation of mechanisms for managing the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and abilities and their modernization among TVET teachers using special equipment supplied by European partners in the framework of international cooperation under the Erasmus + program, and mastering the appropriate computer software. It has been established that at each stage of the design activity, the clothing designer must use the corresponding computer software tools: programs for modeling and creating patterns, printouts of templates, and the possibility of trying on a three-dimensional computer model, software for illustrative graphics packages. A review of the relevant computer programs for modeling and creating patterns and software of the illustrative graphics packages was carried out. Mastering the capabilities of advanced developments in the field of design by teachers and applicants for higher education in the specialty "015 Vocational Education (Design)" will allow their effective and efficient use.
