The theme of the 2023 Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers (ANZSI) 2023 conference was ‘Making Connections’. It was held on the Charles Sturt University campus in Wagga Wagga, NSW, on 19–20 October. This was the first ANZSI conference in many years, and an opportunity for the Society’s members to gather in person after several years of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic. They enjoyed two days of presentations and networking. An advanced indexing workshop followed the conference on 21 October.
