The research explores the dynamics of Strategic Information Systems (SIS) adoption across firms in the UAE by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The research uses cluster sampling method with a sample size of 187 business executives. The aim of the research is to concentrate on user perceptions and its influence on attitudes and intentions w.r.t. with SIS adoption. The research discloses a solid effect of Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) on Perceived Usefulness (PU), consistent with TAM. Also, it is identified that PU positively influences Attitude (ATT), the non-significant influence of PU on tangible SIS use stresses the compulsion of apprehensions yonder PU. Surprisingly, ATT does not directly impact the inclination to use SIS for business decision-making. The research continues with practical implications for companies in the UAE, highlighting the need to address both user perceptions and practical system issues for successful SIS deployment within the TAM framework.
